Site Updates

As you can see, the web site has undergone some much needed updating. Along with some changes in the types of portable antenna mounts that we sell there are some changes "under the hood" to allow those visiting our site with smartphones and iPads to view the site in a more uniform manner. Those of you using desktop/laptop computers should only see the normal sized web site with all the images at full scale. We made these changes realizing the many visitors that come to our site using devices other than desktop or laptop computers to view it.

Missouri State Highway Patrol

The Missouri State Highway Patrol has purchased one of our Tilt-N-Raise tilt-over antenna mounts for their highly Missouri State Highway Patrol - Rapid Response Vehicle.specialized Rapid Response Vehicle pictured to the left. One can only guess the amount of electronics contained within this stunning black SUV. The size of this picture does not do justice to the vehicle or the wide array of antennas mounted upon the specially designed platform on the roof.

Production Notes

The portable antenna mount that we produce is a niche market to say the least even considering the market we serve. However, we don’t keep the portable antenna mounts we make in stock so you will have a brief waiting period once you place an order with us. Bear with us as we use several outside vendors for a couple phases and we are at the mercy of their scheduling. These outside vendors are used to insure you get the quality product that you are paying for. We do try to give realistic completion dates for the antenna mount that you order so that you get your mount as quickly as possible.

New Portable Antenna Product

We have added another portable antenna mount to our line, this one is the 2.000" mount but does not have the radial plate attached to the bottom. Price for this new version of our portable antenna mount is $249.95 and the picture below shows you what it looks like:

Emergency Communications

When you grab your ‘bug out bag’ (or box in the case of radio gear) with your communications gear in it and your computer gear be sure to take along a Tilt-N-Raise antenna mount to make putting up a portable antenna a snap. Keep your Tilt-N-Raise in the same spot as your bugout bag and be totally prepared for the next emergency. The Tilt-N-Raise antenna mount is a no tools required method of securing your antenna mast to your vehicle!

Quality Materials Used Throughout

This is a super heavy duty antenna mount, you won’t find anything made out of stamped steel or thin wall tubing in our portable antennaSample of 6061 aluminum stock we use. mount. This a small piece of the aluminum stock that we use in our portable mounts. This picture alone should demonstrate the quality of the materials we use in the manufacturing process. Along with this flat stock 6061 aluminum we use 6061 for the 1.25" bar stock, 6063 aluminum for the 2.00" model and schedule 40 aluminum pipe for the vertical support tube. We do not use aluminum tubing as it has a thinner wall and lower strength than the 6061 schedule 40 pipe. You may find antenna mounts cheaper than the super heavy duty ones that we produce, but then you get what you pay for. <<Read more>>
