Emergency Communications
When you grab your 'bug out bag' (or box in the case of radio gear) with your communications gear in it and your computer gear be sure to take along a Tilt-N-Raise antenna mount to make putting up a portable antenna a snap. Keep your Tilt-N-Raise in the same spot as your bugout bag and be totally prepared for the next emergency. The Tilt-N-Raise antenna mount is a no tools required method of securing your antenna mast to your vehicle!
Quality Materials Used Throughout
This is a super heavy duty antenna mount, you won't find anything made out of stamped steel or thin wall tubing in our portable antenna
mount. This a small piece of the aluminum stock that we use in our portable mounts. This picture alone should demonstrate the quality of the materials we use in the manufacturing process. Along with this flat stock 6061 aluminum we use 6061 for the 1.25" bar stock, 6063 aluminum for the 2.00" model and schedule 40 aluminum pipe for the vertical support tube. We do not use aluminum tubing as it has a thinner wall and lower strength than the 6061 schedule 40 pipe. You may find antenna mounts cheaper than the super heavy duty ones that we produce, but then you get what you pay for. <<Read more>>

Communications tips
Radio and computer equipment.
Pre-stage everything before you head out to the site where you will operating. This will go a long way towards keeping old Murphy at bay, allowing you a more trouble-free operation.
Communications antennas.
Be sure to take along your Tilt-N-Raise antenna mount (you do own one, don't you?) so you (and your team if you are in one) can get on the air quickly once you arrive at your operating location.
ARRL Field Day.
There are a good many operators who run Field Day at their local park. One of the biggest drawbacks to operating with one or maybe two operators on Field Day is putting the antenna up. Now with the Tilt-N-Raise you can have your antenna or antenna support up in 5 minutes or less.
