Tilt-N-Raise® 1.5" Portable Antenna Mounts

The 1.5" model of our tilt-over antenna mount is the made for those radio amateurs needing a foldover mount that the smaller antennas and antenna masts can fit easily into. This model is the latest (15 March 2011) that we offer to date, with an inside diameter of the vertical support tube measuring in at 1.5 inches. This light duty portable antenna mount allows you to tilt the base over, insert the 1.5" mast or antenna and then simply walk it back up into place. The radial plate seen on the 2 inch tilt-over mount is not available on the new 1.5 inch portable antenna mount.

The 1.5 inch mount is suited for smaller antennas and push up masts of up to 20 feet in height. Anytime the height of the antenna mast or the antenna itself reaches the maximum recommended height in our instruction manual you should guy the mast/antenna to prevent any possible wind damage. These antenna mounts are available for the 2.00" as well as the 1.25" receiver hitches. At this time we do not have any plans to build a tiltover antenna mount for the Class IV/V hitches which are 2.50" in size.

It might be tempting to use our portable antenna mount as a mobile antenna mount but the Tilt-N-Raise portable antenna mount was not designed to be used as a mobile mount! Driving your vehicle around with an HF or VHF antenna in the tilt-over antenna mount will expose you or others to the likelihood of injury from striking power lines or at minimum damage to the antenna or your vehicle.
