During the party the same station may be worked only once per band and mode, unless they are mobile or portable. Stations may be worked again when they activate another KY county. All mobile and/or portable stations must identify themselves as such so that fixed stations looking for new multipliers may more easily work them.
EXCHANGE: RS(T) and QTH (State, Canadian Province or DX). Kentucky stations send your 3-character county abbreviation as the QTH. Get involved in the Kentucky QSO Pary and earn the Worked All Kentucky award.
Tilt-N-Raise and Kentucky QSO Party
The use of the Tilt-N-Raise antenna mount in the Kentucky QSO Party event is a great idea. You can use the Tilt-N-Raise to get your antenna up in short order and then you can concentrate on getting the rest of your gear operational. Think of the extra Kentucky counties you and your group (if you are in one) can have in the logs. The antenna is a major part of an amateur radio station operating in Kentucky QSO Party and the last thing you need to worry about is whether the antenna will stay upright during the Kentucky QSO Party. If you have yet to buy a Tilt-N-Raise then just use our link to order a Tilt-N-Raise for yourself, then you can rest easy while working the Kentucky QSO Party or any other radio event.
